Corn, zucchini, and pumpkin planted together is about as classic a companion-planting combination as it gets, and it’s earned its reputation — it’s working well in my garden too, not just in the books.
This bed also has a bit of dill that self-seeded in among the three main crops. I didn’t plant it there on purpose, but it’s a welcome addition and I’ve left it to do its thing.
