Time to actually tackle the greenhouse. It’s gone thick with weeds along the paths and around the beds, to the point where you genuinely can’t see the soil anymore.


The real question is whether there are still tomatoes to be found under all of it, or whether the weeds have won this round entirely.

Turns out the tomato plants themselves are doing just fine — tall, leafy, and clearly not slowed down by the competition at their feet.


And there they are: clusters of green tomatoes, still a way off from ripe, but very much present and accounted for.

Looking back down the length of the greenhouse once I’d cleared a path through — satisfying to see the structure of the place again after not being able to see more than a few feet in front of me.
