The early kale — the batch I started indoors back in the dark of winter — is finally paying off properly. It’s giving a really good harvest right now, which feels like a small victory after months of babying it through trays and buckets and basements.
There’s something satisfying about a plant that’s been part of the whole journey from tiny seedling under a grow light to a proper harvest on the plate.
