A few small mid-May threads worth tying together. Down in the basement, the cucumber plants are still coming along, waiting for their turn to go outside in a few weeks.

Remember how nervous I was that the rhubarb wouldn’t take when I moved it? Look at it now — completely thriving, no sign it was ever disturbed.

Note to self: I bought an Allåkerbär (Arctic bramble) plant, then learned afterward that you actually need two plants of different sexes for it to fruit — is that really true? The variety is called Anna, and I need to remember that so I can track down a second one.

There are also just a few late-sown flowers and some spare cabbage plants left to fill the gaps in the basement where the slugs got to the originals — nothing dramatic, just tidying up loose ends.
And the cucumber plants that were ready are now officially planted out.
