Indoors this week, we’re reusing a few IKEA Kallax shelves to put together a slightly better play area for the kids. We don’t really have a fixed plan for it — we’re just figuring it out as we go, moving things around until it starts to feel right.
It’s satisfying to give old furniture a new job rather than buying something new, and the kids don’t much care whether it’s new or repurposed as long as there’s somewhere good to play.
