This year’s experiment was putting pumpkin, beans, cucumber and corn into the same bed together, and it’s turned out really well.
The corn gives the beans something to climb, the cucumber fills in low where there’s room, and the pumpkin sprawls over whatever’s left — a busy, crowded bed, but a productive one. Definitely one to repeat, maybe with small adjustments to spacing another year.
