Both the Jerusalem artichokes and the rhubarb have properly outgrown where they’re planted at this point. They’re spreading further than the beds were meant to hold, and I know they both need to move.

The trouble is I still don’t know where to put them. So for now they stay exactly where they are, and every year around this time I get reminded all over again that this is something I need to deal with.

It’s not the highest priority this year either, though — some things just have to wait their turn.
