Snow has melted, spring is here, and the garlic is growing. Two varieties in this bed — the early one is already off and growing fast, the late one still resting under its leaf cover.
Looking good by the end of May — adding grass clippings this weekend.
And still going strong by late June. This is genuinely the most hands-off bed in the garden — a bit of grass clippings during the season and otherwise nothing at all.
