We had a few free days and, as usual, decided to spend them on a practical project rather than actually resting. This year it’s a fence going up behind the sauna cottage — a reasonably contained job that still gives us plenty of time outdoors and something satisfying to point at afterward.
There’s something about measuring, cutting, and setting posts that feels like a proper break from everything else, even though it’s technically work.
