Autumn colours — chard and kale still holding strong even as the rest of the season winds down.
A couple of weeks later, the rest of the autumn garden: kale, potatoes, leek and carrots, all coming in together.
This is my favourite stretch of the whole season — everything ripening at once, the colours getting richer as the light gets lower, right before it all has to come in for winter.
