A small note on how we’ve furnished the tiny house: pretty much everything in it, in principle, is second hand. The old pine table, the upholstered chair, the lamps — none of it was bought new, and I think that’s exactly why it works.
There’s something about a room furnished this way that a showroom-fresh set can never quite match — everything already has a history, and it all somehow still comes together.
